We will begin to watch the movie Selma while reading Lewis’ novel March, Book 3.

Scenes 1-5 → :00-32:36 (Main events: MLK wins Nobel Peace Prize, Birmingham Church Bombing, registering to vote, 
MLK and LBJ meet, MLK visits Selma, LBJ meets with Hoover,
MLK returns to Atlanta, breakfast with the SCLC, MLK speech to Selma residents, MLK meets with Lewis and SNCC and decides on Selma)

As a class we will read in March → Pages 5-11, 145-163.
