Day # 13 --To the End

Graphic Novels

This post represents a general outline for the remainder of the school year as we finalize our Graphic Novels.

Friday, May 31st - Goal --> Chapter 1 (2 pages of the novel should be complete)  Pages 3 & 4 should be designed.

Monday, June 3rd - 1) Chapter 1 should be finalized
                                2) Chapter 2 should be completed - changes 
                                    can still be made. 
                                3) Chapter 3 should be designed 

Tuesday, June 4th - 1) Chapter 2 should be finalized
                                2) Chapter 3 should be completed - changes 
                                    can still be made. 
                                3) Chapter 4 should be designed 

Wednesday, June 5th - 1) 10-15 minute conferences with teacher to                                            discuss chapters 2 & 3
                                     2) Finalize Chapter 3 
At the end of this class Chapters 1-3 should be completed.

Thursday, June 6th - 1) Design rest of book Chapters 4-6
                                  2) Have design approved by teacher
                                  3) If time permits work on Chapter 4

Friday, June 7th - 1) Nip Rogers Meetings
                             2) Finalize Chapter 4

Monday, June 10th - Finalize last chapters


Tuesday, June 11th - Finalize last chapters-use these pointers

Wednesday, June 12th - 1) Book Cover 
                                       2) Final Touches to Graphic Novels
                                       3) Color code Image links on workspace

Thursday, June 13th - Class #1 - Put books together
                                    Class #2 - Review Session for SS8 Test

Friday, June 14th - SS8 Test / Practice Reading Graphic Novels
Monday, June 17th - Read to 5th Graders!  1:00-2:00 PM
