2) Now, let's organize those green folders. You have (3) minutes to make sure your folder has the following:
- 11 unstapled amendments
- 5 stapled amendments (1, 13, 14, 15, 19)
- Reconstruction Terms/Chart of 13, 14, 15 Causes & Effects
- Text evidence sheet on Opportunities/Vote/No Fear
3) Let's Review what the 13, 14 and 15 amendments say? And, what those words mean?
4) What are Historical Documents? Sources? Primary vs Secondary Review.
Now, let's get to work. Mrs. Carlisto will explain a written assignment surrounding the PROMISES of the 13, 14 and 15 Amendments. Those promises were:
- AA's will have a say/vote in government
- AA's will have the opportunity to succeed
- AA's will be able to live a life without fear and intimidation
